Cornmeal Drop Biscuit
A quick and easy biscuit recipe that's perfect for
breakfast, lunch and dinner.

- 1 C. Butter (2 sticks), frozen
- 1 โ
C. AP Flour
- 2 tsp. Baking powder
- ยฝ tsp. Salt
- 1 C. Cold milk
- 1 C. Cornmeal
1. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF.
2. Gather all your ingredients. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Carefully grate the frozen butter into the dry ingredients; then, mix in the cornmeal until a crumbly texture forms.
4. Gradually add the cold milk and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the dough.
5. Using a portion scoop, measure out each biscuit (about ยผ cup) onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each biscuit.
6. Once portioned, bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
