Michelle's ardent and abiding convictions to environmentalism, organics, biodynamics, nutrition, and holistic living spearheaded the vision for Mineral Springs Ranch as it exists today. So much of what people experience at MSR, and with Soter wines, is derived from her spirit, vision, and drive for authenticity. She will continue to inspire us to strive for a greater purpose in our work. 

Michelle’s passion for food led to the development of our farm, culinary program, and to our beloved Summer Solstice Party, an annual event at MSR celebrating all things gastronomic. She believed access to nutritious and delicious food is an essential human right, a principle that remains a pillar of our company’s mission today.

Through the years, we have raised over $30,000 to support local food pantries that provide a variety of fresh and shelf-stable groceries to low-income families and individuals in our county.

It was Michelle's vision that inspired us to produce what is now one of our most beloved wines: our Mineral Springs Brut Rosé. Like Michelle, this wine started it all. It's filled our glasses on birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations alike. It is the first wine to be harvested each vintage and the last to be released. As Emerson suggested, "let us make our glasses kiss; Let us quench the sorrow cinders." Cheers to the life, love, and memory of this incredible woman.
