Join us as we embark on a vineyard hike of Mineral Springs Ranch. This adventure will highlight our biodynamic vineyard practices, our 1% For the Planet certified wines, and the incredible impact The Oregon Bee Project has in the Willamette Valley.
We will begin the evening hike at Soter Vineyards tasting room and continue to the top to the vineyard where we will have a resting station to enjoy sweeping views of the valley towards the coastal mountain range. Additionally, you will hear from a volunteer from the OSU Master Melittologist program who will lead a discussion on bees and plants, and their important relationship! We will then loop around the vines to view our 3-acre farm and winery before ending back at the tasting room. The hike will include walking on uneven ground, in full and part sun, with some elevation gains. Guests should be prepared for a 45–60-minute walk. Throughout the walk, you will sample our Planet Oregon wines and enjoy a few seasonal snacks along the way. Finish your tour with a glass of wine watching the sunset.
This tour will be led by resident Soter educator Dr. Jeff D. Peterson, an expert in Oregon wine, history and viticulture. Join us and be part of this extraordinary adventure at Mineral Springs Ranch—a unique blend of nature, wine, and sustainable growing practices!
