Winter 2025 Wine Club Release
Our first club allocation of the year always carries a whisper of nostalgia. Winter still clutches us in its chill, yet hints of spring shimmer on the horizon. Here in Oregon, we were recently gifted a teaser week—several consecutive days of warm sunlight that coax us to pack away our sweaters and dream of summer BBQs. Of course, the familiar cycle returns: the rain and cold creep back, reinforced by a few days of lingering snow. All the while, our vineyards press on, indifferent to our fickle moods as they remain dormant, pruned, and readied for their spring burst of growth.
Now, with three primary estate vineyards under our care, there is much to celebrate and accomplish. This year marks the official biodynamic certification of both our Ribbon Ridge Estate—a charming site bisected by three small ponds that separate radically distinct exposures (steep to the east and south, undulating to the west)—and our Tarren Vineyard, a rugged, stony, sloping gem nestled in the Eola-Amity Hills. Guided by veteran Ranch Manager Antonio and our deft Viticulturist, Emily, our dedicated team has labored for several years to earn biodynamic certification (in our minds, the gold standard of organic agriculture). Our Estates series wines are composed of grapes sourced from one, two, or all three of these sites. Of course, this includes our flagship, Mineral Springs Ranch (MSR), and in the fall we will debut the first single-vineyard-designated Tarren Pinot Noir bottling.
