Fall 2024 Wine Club Release


Harvest is in full swing at Mineral Springs Ranch (MSR), bringing with it the buzz of activity and the thrill of a new vintage. Our days are filled with receiving fruit from the vineyard and adapting to the ever-shifting weather that dictates our schedule. Fortunately, we are nourished by the Oaxacan delights of our harvest chef, Fidelfa, who is equally skilled in the cellar as she is in the kitchen. Winemaker Chris Fladwood has officially ‘moved-in’ to the winery, where he will remain most days and nights until harvest concludes—talk about dedication to craft!

Each growing season presents unique challenges and opportunities as we contend with the whims of the weather gods on behalf of our vines while protecting the resources of our land. The pivotal moment is the decision to harvest, thereby applying our craft in honor of the grapes, our property, and the signature of this season. As of now, the 2024 wines are in the earliest stage of their journey from fruit to bottle—fermenting juice undergoing the sublime transformation from grape to wine. This season has already shown superb potential for the nascent wines.

Autumn at the winery is not just bustling; it’s also one of the most exciting times to visit. If you time it right, you’ll not only witness lush clusters of grapes in the vineyard, but you might also get a sneak peek at the winemaking process. The entire Willamette Valley is alive with excitement; local pubs are packed with winemakers and interns from around the globe—this year, our team boasts members from four countries across three continents!

Step into one of our favorite local restaurants or join us for an exclusive Provisions Tasting at the winery, where you’ll enjoy our home-grown fare in its peak season. Delight in expertly foraged chanterelle mushrooms, an array of winter squashes displaying a vibrant palette of colors with intriguing varieties such as Blue Hubbard, Black Futsu, and Red Kuri. Experience the crunch of Oregon's famed hazelnuts, a local treasure not overshadowed by our renowned grapes. And don’t miss the chance to taste what are arguably the crispest, most flavorful apples in the Northwest.
