SOTER ORIGIN SERIES

The extremely high quality vineyard sites within the Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, Ribbon Ridge, Yamhill-Carlton viticultural areas, provide a rich and diverse array of raw materials from which we carefully practice the "art of the blend". In each vintage, we create classic single appellation blends as well as small lots of exception single vineyard wines of substantial character. Winemakers, Chris Fladwood, James Cahill and Tony Soter, are engaged partners with our growers, and the blocks we select from each vineyard are fastidiously farmed to our own, rigorous standards enduring the absolute highest quality attainable. In fact, it is common practice for James to be working in the vineyards we source each week from flowering all the way through harvest, treating the vineyards and specific rows we access as if each were a “satellite Estate vineyard”. In accordance with our own principles and self-held responsibilities to the land, all of the vineyards we work with are certified sustainable and often certified organic vineyards.
